If heading the ball hurts or makes you dizzy, it’s not because you’re “bad at headers.”
It’s because you’re letting the ball hit you.
Here’s the fix:
Stop being the wall. Be the hammer.
Attack the ball using your core, legs, and neck. Drive your forehead through it — right at the hairline. And yes, this matters more than anything else: keep your eyes open. That’s what gives you timing, accuracy, and confidence.
Closed eyes = mistimed jumps, bad contact, and unnecessary pain.
Open eyes = control.
Head the ball with intention. You’ve got this.
