Other Arts Ensemble is an open-instrumentation chamber ensemble directed by percussionist/composer Kevin Sims. The ensemble rehearses and performs music from the 20th and 21st centuries, focusing on experimental tradition, works by composers, improvisations, creative arrangements or adaptations, and original pieces by the ensemble. Students collaborate on the curation process, helping to make artistic decisions about what pieces to play and how to play them 🎶
