☀️SPARTAN JAX WEEKEND RECAP☀️ First spartanrace weekend of the year is in the books and the 2023 OCR season is live! Jacksonville was an absolute blast. Two days, two races, two podiums. Both races were fast & aggressive. Technical ability on obstacles was important each day because of the morning dew/fog. I treaded water in a race for the first time and felt strong running through the terrain. I am thrilled with my performance & results after a gruesome hyrox training block and little trail running prior. My age group was very competitive for both races and nearly tripled in size for the series race. The podium spot seperation was small and I loved being in the mix battling with these dudes. I finsihed the weekend going 48/53 on the obstacles and landing in the top 10% overall for both races. This is a very good baseline to use moving forward for this season.
