The historic vinoyresort unveiled a wide swath of its public-facing renovations over the weekend, showcasing beautiful new spaces nearly 18 months in the making. The renovations include a reimagined veranda, historic restorations and Mediterranean touches in the main lobby, an elegant new bakery and cafe, and the grand opening of a luxury boutique. These new spaces are part of The Vinoy's large scale and multi-phase renovation plan, which also includes the guest rooms, spa, ballrooms, restaurants and pool area. While construction continues on the ground level seating outside the veranda, the patio bar is now open, as well as the patisserie inside. Lottie's, as the cafe has been christened, offers a full coffee bar as well as a wide range of goodies from sandwiches, quiches and savory croissant sandwiches, to gelato, eclairs, cookies, tarts, brownies and much more.
