As a precursor to tomorrow's post-season awards, we would like to announce the Alumna of the Year Award, presented to the individual who displays commitment, passion, and humanity and serves as an example to current Cardinal hockey players in their efforts post-graduation. The winner of this award is Laura Langen. Langen is the USA Hockey Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador for IL and the Executive Director of Hockey On Your Block, a women-led initiative that seeks to bring the game of hockey to all Chicago-area youth. #SMUWH #FindAWay #HOYB
