Jay Lethal has revealed that AJ Styles paid the down payment for his first house during their time together in TNA Wrestling. Speaking on the What Happened When podcast, Lethal detailed how Styles took an interest in his living situation, urging him to stop renting an apartment and invest in a property. Styles and his wife actively searched for listings for Lethal and enlisted a friend to help him view potential homes. When Lethal found a house but faced financial hurdles, Styles provided the funds for the down payment. “He goes, 'Don't tell anybody. Don't ever mention this again. And you know what, I don't even want this money back, and if you try to pay me back, I ain't gonna take it,'” Lethal recalled. Lethal stated that he still lives in that same house today and described Styles as "one of the best human beings in the world."
