Detectives have been investigating a report of grand theft in which an elderly victim allowed a couple to reside in her residence for an extended period. Later, the couple was asked to move out, to which they complied. Thereafter, the victim noticed several items were missing from her home, including numerous firearms, jewelry, money and more. Detectives continued with follow up investigation and were able to identify the male and female responsible for the theft. Deputies with the Crime Impact Team conducted surveillance and located the couple at a residence in West Hills where they were arrested for grand theft and elder abuse.
