Small Markets means small work. If you want to be working full time, get yourself to a big market. These markets look different depending on what type of work you want to be doing, for example, acting is huge in Atlanta. Lots of commercials and few TV shows in Chicago. But for modeling, LA, NY, Miami are the big 3. I know it’s scary and there’s lots of reasons not to want to move here or there, cost of living, don’t know anyone, scared, etc. but at the end of the day, you have to be where the work is. Don’t wait till it’s too late, get out there now and you can at least say you did everything you could to succeed. Social media is great for making connections and friends.
