happy blitz!! this months theme is reflections. the thing i've most reflected on the past few weeks was brought to my attention by a fb post. as a mixed kid, society almost teaches you to pick a side. i used to feel the need to mark 'other' on paperwork because in my mind both sides of my heritage are the same. while I understand many people don't perceive what racism and various forms of hatred may look like. I don't think its about learning what not to do. we should be teaching ourselves what to do instead. hatred and racism will always exist. the thing is, we can be anti-racist and 'hate' racism OR we can be people who show love to everyone. showing love will bring much more change than avoiding hatred. #livebangs #bangsblitz #reflection #bangsambassador #love #mixedgirl #comeasyouare
