i was saving this post particularly for this week (my spirthday is coming up 😄) but more so because i shared for the first time at church on sunday. it was just our bible talk group, but despite having aced a public speaking class, talking in public terrifies me. when our bible talk leader asked me to do it, i didn't think i could say no. it was a challenge i needed. these lyrics became a constant reminder that even though it's my story, its not about me. when i shared with my mom the night before, i broke down because i was actually confirming to myself how real God's love is. "remember these things, for you are my servant; I formed you; you are my servant; you will not be forgotten by me. I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like a mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you."
