#SCRiceLaw celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this evening with a keynote by Steve Benjamin, '94, an introduction by Dean William Hubbard and awards presented to those who exemplify Dr. King’s values and commitment to justice. The awards include: -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Distinguished Service Award - Justin Bamberg, '11, current SC State Representative -Keeper of the Dream Award - ACLU of South Carolina -Community Changemakers Award - #SCRiceLaw Pro Bono Board -Runners up for Community Changemakers Award - #SCRiceLaw The Lincoln-Douglas Society A Touch of Faith Gospel Choir also performed songs like "We Shall Overcome" in honor of #MLKJr.
