It’s official, I’ve completed my expedition through the amazing country of New Zealand! 🗺 My studies here are also challenging me to think deeper about the challenges #globalfood systems have wrapped up in industries like beef, sheep, dairy, and viticulture. As I wrap up my expedition, I will also be preparing for my internship at Gourmet Direct Limited where I have the opportunity to research trends in the New Zealand meat industries and how it relates to their “clean and green” reputation. The time I’ve spent here has been nothing less than spectacular. This adventure has put me so far outside of my comfort zone, but I know it was for the best as I continue to learn more about myself. I’ve made so many new friends and connections all while knocking off items on my bucket list (like seeing the Pacific Ocean!). 🌊 Thanks for keeping up with me and my adventures this past week!
