The first of our six Senior Salutes posts of the members of the Windsor High School boys’ golf team features Landon Ball! Landon Ball is the oldest son of Mike and Kris Ball and attends the Windsor Charter Academy. Besides golf, Landon also excels on the basketball court for the WCA Firebirds. This past season, Landon qualified for the Class 4A state tournament for the third-straight year. He is one of six student-athletes in Windsor history to qualify for at least three state tournaments and averaged 83 strokes in those six state rounds. During his high school career, he finished with a stroke average of 80.87 in 47 competitive rounds. He finished among the top 5 in 12 events and was runner-up twice. His lowest round on the high school links was a 72 he shot at Coyote Creek in Fort Lupton on Aug. 23, 2021.
