#Babyshower Marrying into a family that loves you is a game changer. 👏🏽😮‍💨 I really do believe that when you marry someone, you are also marrying their family for several reasons. As a Nigerian and knowing how closely knit families are traditionally, I always desired a good relationship with my future in-laws, because have ya’ll seen Nollywood movies?!?! That’ll do it 😂 When I say that the peace is worth it, not feeling like an outsider and also getting to share in the joy and blending of cultures is beautiful. I really love the dynamic of my relationship with my in laws, because it doesn’t even feel like I am an “in law”. From the jump, they made it clear that I am their daughter and they really kept to this, through actions and words. The funny part is that people assume or mistake me as my MIL’s birth daughter when they see us out and about because of our dynamic and they might as well because we cut up. 😂🤣 What do you think tho?
