My favorite sound here is the plane going by — created by vibrating a rubber mallet against the drum. The small metal chain on the drumhead adds a rattling texture to evoke the propellors, and I’m also blowing air into the mic to provide some low-end, giving the plane real a sense of scale within the scene.
