We're celebrating incredible Black leaders this Black History Month, including Dr. Deidre Cooper Owens. Dr. Owens is currently the Director of the Humanities in Medicine Program at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and the Charles and Linda Wilson Professor in the History of Medicine as well. Her work includes Medical Bondage: Race, Gender and the Origins of American Gynecology. Let's give a hand to Dr. Owens and remember to always remember how far we've come, and how much we have to go.
