Two of Portland’s most beloved St. Patrick’s Day traditions merge this year as Kells partners with the Shamrock Run for a huge pre-St. Pat’s party in Waterfront Park. The Shamrock Run, often referred to as Portland’s spring kickoff running event, celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. And for the first time, Kells will move some of its most popular events to Tom McCall Waterfront Park to share in the celebration with runners and those who are just looking for a good stout and some bagpipe music.
