Morgan DeBaun has spent the decade building empires. She is the founder and CEO of Blavity, home to the largest network of platforms and lifestyle brands connecting the world to Black culture through experiences. She also founded AfroTech, a web platform and the largest multicultural tech conference in the nation. AfroTech convenes engineers, venture capitalists, recruiters, technologists, and culture enthusiasts worldwide for thought leadership, networking, and community building. Morgan served as Student Union president during her time as a student at WashU and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Arts & Sciences in 2012.
