Happy Latiné Heritage Month, Panthers! Latiné Heritage Month is a month dedicated to the connection and appreciation of the Latin American countries. To help celebrate, UNIdos has so many events planned throughout the month: from zumba to collabs with UNI Outdoors and other organizations. UNIdos is also collaborating with the Department of Language & Literature— they are bringing a speaker on Sept. 27th, where Chuy Rentería will discuss what it is like being a Latino growing up in Iowa. UNIdos President, Yessenia Rodriguez, has this message for our Panthers: “I want students at UNI to come and enjoy our events to learn more about the culture with our desserts, drinks, music.
