This month we are recognizing Black excellence - those who have paved the way for generations and inspired us all. Today we recognize our very own Rose Thomson. The UW Athletic Hall of Famer was a Badger athlete who set two records at UW - one in the 1500 meters and one in the 3000 meters. The Singore, Kenya native was a three-time Big Ten cross country champion and an 11-time All-American in indoor and outdoor track and cross country from 1979-83 !
