On Sunday 12, March 2023 the GFA team visited the Birchgrove Playing Field where Sweat Nation hosted its annual Sweat Nation Seminar Style football tournament. The community started the tournament during the Covid-19 Pandemic and has made it a recreational activity through which people can enjoy the sport of football. The aim of the tournament is to have an official GFA football team from Birchgrove. The GFA team officially welcomed all of the players to Concacaf Nations League game on Friday 24, March 2023 at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium at 8 PM.
