First is the chief of staff — this person is the right-hand man to the head coach. Everything that gets to the head coach goes through the chief of staff. Second is analysts on offense and defense. Usually, these coaches are younger and trying to work their way up a coaching tree. Analysts scout film, track data, help in recruiting and put practice plans together. Third is the director of player personnel — this person oversees the entire roster, scholarships, and recruiting.
