If you follow our Terrain Updates, you know we’ve been opening a lot of Limited Skiing Terrain lately. Drop In with Reed Ryan, Snow Safety Supervisor, to uncover why this early access skiing is a key step for season-long enjoyment of our natural terrain. A few tips to remember: 1- This terrain is open for a limited time, which means that once it’s closed, it’s CLOSED. 2- Ropes & posted signs reign surpreme. You might hear about a limited opening, and then find that it’s roped off and marked as closed upon your arrival. Do not duck the rope. 3- When you access this terrain, observe and obey posted signage at the trail entrance. Ski in a manner that is consistent with all warning signs. 4- Unmarked obstacles exist. Ski in control, in a manner where you can react appropriately and reduce your risk of injury if you hit something. 5- Not sure about terrain openings?
