King 8, is what I call him! A beautiful public Mississippi Buck I harvested this morning 1/16/26, around 6:50am. He showed up for the first time around Thanksgiving, and I’ve been trying to catch up with him since. Day lighted once on camera in almost 2 months, so I knew I had to be there to make it happen. King 8 made me work for it and I couldn’t ask for a better buck to have as my first trophy mount. I’m super grateful for this opportunity, experience, and all that this hunt has taught me.
