Wrestling is reaching medal rounds in the #Tokyo2020 Olympics, but did you know that the #Bonnies once had an Olympian on the mat? Ed Don George, at left in the 1st picture, wrestled in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam and graduated from Bona's with an engineering degree the following year when he became AAU National Champion. After graduating he turned to pro wrestling and, after a career in the Navy as well, was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2006. He was inducted into the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1975. #olympichistory
