We hope you're enjoying the Tokyo Olympic Games! Watching the Games makes us think of our #Bonnies Olympians through the years. Here is the 1928 @bonniesxctrack Cross Country team photo. Two members of this team would compete in the Olympics - John Bell (also in the second pic) qualified for the 1924 Olympics and also made it to the 1928 Olympic Trials. Lewis Gregory (name spelled wrong in the pic cutline, oops) appeared in the 1932 Olympics and the 1936 Olympic Trials. Both competed in track events in the Olympics. Both were inducted into the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1977. #olympics #Tokyo2020 #olympichistory
