Welcome to Lake OMG 😍 Convict Lake is FULL of beauty, even in the winter months. Just 20 minutes from Mammoth Mountain, this lake sits at the base of some truly stunning mountains. This is the perfect place to bring the kids when looking to burn a little energy and get some fresh air. There’s a 2.5-mile trail that loops around the lake, with a section that splits off into the mountains if the kiddos are a little older. And yes, there are bathrooms! Depending on the season, there’s a lake resort and a campground near the lake, with a marina rental for kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats, and more!
