I was invited to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl back in 2018. Here are 3 things they don’t tell you but you should know about these college all-star games. First — like any industry, it’s about relationships. Yes, the drills and the games are important, but these coaches are installing schemes and working closely with these players. Guys who are great to work with rise. Guys who aren’t sinking. Second — 1 on 1’s are the main event. It might not be fair, but this is where everyone’s attention goes, and what everybody talks or writes about when they’re recapping the event for the important decision-makers. Third — learning to play the media game pays dividends. The media isn’t in any team’s war room, but these folks talk to people in these war rooms. They exchange information. Just because someone has a microphone smiling for the camera doesn’t mean they can’t help you. #cfb #collegefootball #collegefootballtiktok #seniorbowl
