I almost didn’t jump on this trend, but 2016 was a pretty formative year for me. It was my first year traveling full time, the year I truly got the ball rolling on my career and the year I decided to start pursuing a visa to move to London. It was a time when I felt so much freedom, inspiration and adventure… and simultaneously felt so lost and so anxious. I wish I could go back and tell that angsty version of myself how much was clicking into place without her knowing it. While the world around us didn’t feel as tumultuous as it does today… I think most of us can at least say that the 2026 versions of ourselves are a bit more wise, confident and established than we were a decade ago.
