We're inspired every day by Red Cross instructors like ✨ Kristallynn Freel! ✨ For the past decade, she’s been teaching lifesaving skills as a water safety instructor, all while batting three types of cancer. “After going through cancer as a child, I knew I wanted a career in helping people someday.” Throughout her diagnosis, she thought she couldn’t have kids and really enjoyed teaching kids how to swim. Now, she has two kids of her own and has fulfilled her childhood dream of helping save lives. "I was also told I would never be able to have kids. I loved working with kids, so I became a swim instructor. To this day, I love seeing the joy on their faces when they accomplish their goals."
