Every St. Patrick’s Day, Dick Fagan's family gathers at Mill Ends Park for a toast.
The Park, which is the world's smallest park, was unofficially founded by the late Dick Fagan, a columnist for the Oregon Journal, who first wrote about it in 1954.
For Fagan, that hole became a magical park. In his columns, he regularly wrote about the park and its leprechaun inhabitants.
