Portland Public School Board members signed off Tuesday on a sweeping plan to revamp high school attendance zones across North and Northeast Portland, starting in fall 2027. The change will bolster enrollment at North Portland’s Jefferson High School, and sunset a 15-year-old policy that allowed families to choose between sending their children to Jefferson or one of three other high schools in the quadrant, depending on their address.
