I get a lot of “you’re so lucky” DMs. And to that I say - no. I showed up when most people didn’t.
Taking arrival photos in the snow and rain? I was the only photographer there. Lakers in town on a sunny April day? Fifteen photographers pull up.
I picked up a camera and started this business just two years ago.
No roadmap. No shortcuts. Just consistency and a willingness to learn.
Luck didn’t create the opportunities. Discipline did. Showing up when it wasn’t glamorous did.
If I can figure it out, so can you. Do the things most people aren’t willing to do - especially when no one is watching.
