During my All-American season at UMass, I got a shot before every game. It all goes back to my freshman All-American season at Penn State when I got injured and chipped a piece of cartilage off my knee. I transferred to UMass after that and my knee (as you could imagine) got drastically worse. It was so bad I couldn’t even practice, so I just did walk-throughs. So, before every single game, I would get injected with an anti-inflammatory painkiller that would allow me to play in games. On Sunday I would wake up and feel like I got hit by a bus 😅 #collegefootball #cfb #collegefootballtiktok #injury #injuryrecovery
