Former WWE Superstar Lana has revealed that Brie Bella personally pitched to lose to her in her final match before retirement. Speaking to Ring The Belle, Lana (CJ Perry) opened up about the creative discussions surrounding the 10-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 32. According to Lana, Brie was the driving force behind their on-screen rivalry and had suggested a scenario where she would put Lana over in a singles match on the Raw following WrestleMania. “Brie actually pitched this story... She actually pitched for me to have a singles match the next night against her and to go over, and actually put her into retirement,” Lana stated. However, the match did not happen as pitched.
