forarpeople 👇🏽 It’s been reported that Bentonville School District took 4th-grade students to an ICE processing facility yesterday. Public schools are meant to be safe places for learning. They are most certainly NOT spaces that normalize detention, family separation, or fear for thousands of Northwest Arkansas kids who already live with uncertainty for their families. This is not okay. We called Bentonville schools to ask for a comment but it went to voicemail. Arkansas classrooms include immigrant children and children of immigrants.
