Number six just this year? I searched with a group once and some of their members threw rocks at a beautiful rattlesnake that was minding it's own damn business. This and more showed their true colors. "We are in their house!", I said. If and when I ever get bitten I feel it may be necessary to apologize to the animal. They don't want to bite us. They are merely defending themselves. We are The Intruders. And biting only weakens them causing further vulnerability. Respect the land. Respect its inhabitants.
