“Show Me Your Papers” is a powerful short film starring actress and singer Apollonia Kotero apollonia_kotero (known from Prince’s Purple Rain and the group Apollonia 6), directed by Jeff Consiglio, which addresses immigration enforcement in the U.S. where families are getting separated, people are getting disappeared and some have gotten killed. The film also features artwork from her “The Disappeared” series and calls for awareness which is much needed. The main targets for ICE have been Latino/Indigenous people and now includes all immigrants. Recently a white mother of 3 Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by an ICE Agent which has opened many peoples eyes to the reality of these agents doing more harm than good.
