Early tomorrow morning we will enter the Barry M. Goldwater Bombing Range to perform a general search. The range covers nearly 2 million acres of southwestern Arizona and is one of the largest military training ranges in the country.
We will attempt to reach a very remote area that possibly has not been searched in years. We will be searching for anyone in distress or deceased. In the last 4 months the Battalion Search and Rescue has located 14 sites with human remains in Arizona and New Mexico.
We recently placed a white stripe across one of our search vehicles to indicate the very different mission we have compared to the US Customs and Border Patrol. Our green government surplus Forest Service truck was the perfect choice with opposite colors of white la migra trucks with their green stripes.
We recognize immigration as a human right and as an act of love. We are the Battalion Search and Rescue and we search for the lost but not forgotten.
