Throughout my career in state agencies, as a legislator, and now as Lt. Governor, I have always tried to improve the ability for people with disabilities to achieve successful employment and enjoy the same opportunities and quality of life as others in Colorado. This week the bills signed into law by govofco Jared Polis makes Colorado a leader in ensuring equal rights and opportunities for those with disabilities. From improving access to employment, accessibility on websites, and increasing training for law enforcement on interacting with people with disabilities -- these new laws will make a true difference in the lives of those with disabilities and a key part of our administration’s goal of a Colorado For All.
