"Taking this photo was a treat for me. I enjoyed watching these two cormorants tend to their nest. This particular cormorant came out of the nest and went straight for a new branch to help out with the nest. The crazy thing about the Double-Crested Cormorant is it was nearly placed on the endangered species list in the 1960s but has made an incredible comeback. It is now a very familiar sight, especially here in sunny Florida.
