Another great day spent volunteering with WTA, this time not too far from home! We worked on new trail construction near Issaquah. A lot of times we are willing to drive up to 2 hours away to do one of these volunteer days, but it’s always super convenient when you find one of these work parties with sign up openings 45 min from home (the day work parties closer to Seattle always get filled really fast). I check the calendar occasionally for new work parties near me on WTA’s website, and it never hurts to put yourself on the waitlist!
