Here’s how I structured meetings with my players every single day as the youngest position coach in power 5 football ⬇️ First, when the guys would come into the room I would just talk to them about life to catch up with them and see if there was anything they needed my help with. When the meeting finally got underway I would start with a quote which would be something to get them motivated. After that is when we would install plays and go over what was going to happen in practice that day — I would try to be super interactive by asking the players questions.
