This belated Mutt Monday, we'd like to feature the Foxhound, Copper! Copper is a 2 year old neutered male, and came to us from a hoarding situation with Todd, over in Kootenai County. When Copper and Todd first arrived, they were very shy and reserved, and kept to the back of their kennels. Through lots of patience (and food bribery) our staff have been able to see Copper come out of his shell, and boy has he been a bundle of joy! Copper is definitely a chatty Cathy, and will boogie and bark until you come over to say hi to him. As you can see from his pictures, he is currently loving life and the attention he's been receiving. Due to his breed, we suspect he'd have a prey drive and would not advise a home with small animals. We have not seen him in a home with other dogs, but would love to schedule a meet and greet with other dogs in the household if there is a genuine interest in adopting.
