A Brave Face. Times are tough at the Galaxy. Between the protests and the poor results to kick off the season, it just hasn’t been easy. And this year has to be good — especially after their next door neighbor took the throne. With all that added pressure, we all hoped the home opener would give us something to hold on to. The 1-1 result was harsh for a game that the Galaxy dominated and probably could have won if it weren’t for VAR. The headlines would’ve been so different. Riqui Puig had the most successful dribbles in the game, Tyler Boyd had his moments in his DHSP regular season debut, and Leerdam found the back of the net. We all know MLS seasons are long. What we see in March is rarely what we see in October. Here more than anywhere, it’s not about how you start but all about how you finish. There’s talent to make changes on the field, and the supporters have what it takes to make a difference off of it. It’s not too late for the league’s most decorated club. 📸: lorenabarros ...
