Eric Keller became a lifesaver by mere happenstance. He was at Walmart in Great Bend, KS, when a 23-month-old toddler suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. He instantly took action and performed CPR to save the little girl’s life. Pictured is the moment when Eric reunited with Nova, the toddler whose life he saved, and her mother in that same Walmart as he was recognized with a Red Cross Lifesaving Award for his heroic actions. Since the scary incident, Nova’s mother, Lacy, received CPR training to ensure she is armed with lifesaving skills in the event of an emergency.
