Whether she was meeting with military generals, and U.S. Congress members or giving speeches, Clara dressed for the occasion and didn't disappoint with her fashion sense. 🔎 Interesting Fact: In the 1870s, Clara wore this dress on a trip to Europe with her niece, Mary “Mamie” Stafford. The women often shared clothes because of their similar small stature. The dress ended up in Mamie's house with her granddaughter, May Olney White, where she was born and also died.
