🥰 We live for little moments like this. ⬆️ After experiencing a massive earthquake at 4 a.m. in Puerto Rico, Red Crosser Rosemarie Valdez grabbed her Red Cross gear and headed out to help her community. While visiting a shelter in Guayanilla, one of the most impacted areas on the island, she met a little girl that changed her life. The girl was sitting outside of the shelter when she locked eyes with Rosemarie and asked her if she wanted to draw. Rosemarie sat there and drew with the girl until she had to leave. That moment touched Rosemarie and helped affirm the importance of her mission work. It also gave her the motivation to continue supporting the response for the next 40 days.
