This is the biggest lesson I learned my first year broadcasting college football games. Believe it or not it’s training my eyes to watch the game. When you are a coach or player you may only be watching one or two guys but when you’re a broadcaster you need to watch the games like a quarterback. Now I always start with the defense and safeties then move down to the linebackers then the offensive line. It allows you to see the structure of the play.
