Bruce Springsteen dedicated a performance of his song “The Promised Land” on Saturday to Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE agent Jan. 7 in Minneapolis. Springsteen made the remarks in a surprise performance at the Light of Day festival in New Jersey, Variety and NJArts.net reported. Before launching into the song, Springsteen repeated an expletive Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey used to call for ICE to leave the city following the killing of Good.
